ROJECT BACKGROUND:

In real life, people often discriminate in appearance due to differences in facial features. In order for people to recognize and evaluate a person more fairly, we propose a facial feature enhancement project based on artificial intelligence technology.

Project Goal: Through artificial intelligence technology, we enhance the beauty of facial features so that people can pay more attention to the evaluation of inner qualities and abilities, and reduce the blind pursuit of and discrimination against external appearance.

Project content:

Sample data collection: collect face image data of different ages, genders, skin colors, and facial features, and annotate them for model training.

Model design and training: using deep learning techniques, design a model that can perform feature extraction and enhancement on face images. It is trained by using a large amount of sample data so that it can accurately enhance the beauty of facial features.

Face feature enhancement: using the trained model, feature enhancement is performed on the input face image and the enhanced face image is output.

Evaluation and Optimization: Evaluate the effectiveness of the model by comparing it with the manually enhanced face image, and optimize it to improve the accuracy and effectiveness of the model.

Application promotion: Apply the face feature enhancement model to real-world scenarios, such as social media, recruitment, advertising and other fields, to promote people’s re-conceptualization and evaluation of appearance features.

Project significance: Through this project, we hope to promote people’s re-recognition and evaluation of appearance features with the help of AI technology, to reduce the blind pursuit of appearance and discrimination, and to make the society fairer, more inclusive and better.

ROJECT BACKGROUND:

This project is an innovative gaming application that combines entertainment and creativity, allowing players to explore a fantastical and challenging virtual world with their own personalized imprint. Through cutting-edge image processing technology and artificial intelligence algorithms, players are able to transform their own facial features into unique identifiers for their in-game characters without having to directly refer to the concept of “face-swapping”, which we call “personality mapping technology”.

Game Mechanics

1. Personality mapping startup

Facial feature capture: In the initialization phase of the game, players capture multi-angle facial images through their cell phone cameras, and the system uses advanced algorithms to safely analyze and extract key features, such as eye shapes, smile curves, etc., to ensure that the information processing process is highly anonymous.

2. Magic Character Customization

Character Creation Ritual: Based on the player’s personality mapping data, the game’s internal “Magic Mirror Engine” fuses these features with preset fantasy race models (such as elves, dragons, and cyborgs) to create a unique game character. Players can also further adjust the hair color, clothing and other details, adding personalized elements.

3. Mirror World Adventure

Plot-driven adventure: Players take control of their personalized characters and embark on an adventure in a mirror world full of unknowns and magic. The world dynamically generates tasks and challenges based on the character’s physical appearance and personality tendencies. For example, players with bright eyes may have an easier time solving light magic puzzles.

4. Emotionally Interactive Puzzle Solving

Emotion-driven interaction: The game incorporates an expression interaction system, where players need to mimic specific expressions to unlock mechanisms or influence the behavior of NPCs (non-player characters), such as a smile to start a friendly conversation, a frown to stimulate the will to fight, etc., to deepen the immersive experience.

5. Social Sharing and Challenges

Magic Mirror Community: Players can post their character appearance and adventure achievements to the game’s built-in “Magic Mirror Community” to compete with other players in appearance, share puzzle-solving skills, and even initiate PvP (player versus player) duels based on emoji challenges, enhancing the game’s social interaction.

Technical and Ethical Safeguards

Privacy and Data Security: Ensure that all facial data processing is done locally on the device, not uploaded to the cloud, and encrypted and processed immediately after use, meeting the strictest privacy protection standards.

Positive experience: The game design follows the principle of inclusiveness, avoiding any form of discrimination or negative portrayal, ensuring that all players can enjoy the game with respect and fun.

Through advanced image processing and artificial intelligence technologies, users are able to integrate their own personal characteristics into virtual characters, thus experiencing unique story lines and interactive plots in various virtual scenes, and realizing the creative presentation and sharing of personal style.

Technical realization steps

1. Personalized feature acquisition

Facial feature analysis: Using high-precision image recognition technology, the user’s facial contour, eyes, smile and other subtle features are safely captured without storing any personally identifiable information.

Expression dynamic analysis: Through video analysis, record the user’s expression change patterns, such as the amplitude of blinking and smiling, etc., so as to facilitate the subsequent personalized simulation.

2. Virtual character customization

Intelligent Character Generator: Based on the feature information provided by the user, the AI algorithm automatically generates a series of basic virtual character templates, each of which is equipped with flexible and adjustable parameters, such as hairstyle, skin color, and clothing style.

Feature Fusion Technology: Using advanced feature mapping technology, the user’s unique facial and expression features are seamlessly integrated into the selected virtual character, creating a personalized character that retains the user’s individual characteristics and is creative at the same time.

3. Contextual interactive script design

Diversified script library: Develop story scripts with various themes, such as historical adventure, sci-fi exploration, modern city, etc., and each script is designed with rich interactive nodes and plot branches.

Character Adaptation Matching: Based on the characteristics of the characters created by the users, the scripts most suitable for their styles and preferences are intelligently recommended to ensure the personalization and immersion of each user’s experience.

Dynamic Expression Synchronization: Using real-time facial tracking technology, the virtual character can instantly reflect the user’s expression changes, enhancing the realism and fun of interaction.

Plot Interaction Engine: Build a responsive plot advancement system where users’ choices and actions can instantly affect the story direction, creating a unique story experience.

5. Social Sharing and Interaction

Creative content platform: Set up a community platform where users can share their personalized characters and story experiences, exchange ideas with other users, and even collaborate on common stories.

ROJECT BACKGROUND:

This project aims to explore the advanced visual effect technology based on deep learning, which can realize the natural simulation and personalized adjustment of characters’ expression and demeanor in the video through the creative fusion of different individuals’ facial features while maintaining the original characteristics of their identity. This technology can not only provide a powerful creative tool for digital entertainment, film and television production, but also open up new application prospects in human-computer interaction, virtual reality and other fields.

Technology Structure

Data preprocessing: A large number of diverse facial images and video clips are collected as training data sets. Image processing techniques are used for face detection, key point marking, and expression analysis to ensure data quality and standardization.

Feature extraction model: Construct a feature extractor based on convolutional neural network (CNN), which is capable of efficiently extracting representative facial feature vectors from the input face images, including but not limited to the subtle features of the facial contour, eyes, nose, mouth, and other key areas.

Feature fusion algorithm: designing an innovative feature fusion strategy that allows seamless integration of facial features from different individuals while maintaining identity uniqueness. This step may involve weight assignment, feature mapping, or generative adversarial networks (GANs) to generate facial representations that are both novel and natural.

Dynamic Expression Synthesis: Processing time-series data using Recurrent Neural Networks (RNNs) or Long Short-Term Memory Networks (LSTMs) to ensure that the generated facial expressions change smoothly and naturally, and accurately reflect the emotional changes in the source video.

Video Rendering Engine: Develop an efficient video processing system that can accurately map the synthesized facial features back to each frame in the target video, while keeping the background and other non-facial elements unchanged to achieve highly realistic visual effects.

Experiment Flow

Preparation: Organize and label the training dataset, including diverse face images and video clips.

Model training: Use GPU cluster to train the feature extraction model and expression synthesis model, and continuously adjust the network structure and parameters until achieving satisfactory feature expression ability and expression generation effect.

Feature fusion experiment: Select specific facial feature combinations for fusion attempts, and evaluate the visual consistency and naturalness of the fused new faces.

Video Processing and Optimization: Apply the above techniques to actual video clips, and optimize the smoothness, synchronization, and visual realism of the facial fusion through repeated testing and adjustments.

User interface design (optional): Develop a user-friendly interface that allows users to upload images or videos, select the facial features they want to fuse, preview and export the processed results.

ROJECT BACKGROUND:

The aim of this project is to develop an innovative digital entertainment tool that allows users to create unique visual experiences by subtly incorporating their own image characteristics into digital content while maintaining privacy and security. Through the use of advanced AI algorithms and image processing techniques, we provide users with a novel way to explore and express themselves without directly referring to the concept of “face transplantation”.

Charm Point Capture Technology: After users upload their personal photos, the platform uses deep learning models to analyze and capture their facial features, such as proportions of features, expression details, etc., to form a personalized feature vector, and the whole process ensures encrypted data processing and protects users’ privacy.

2. Creative Image Design Workbench

Virtual image customization room: based on the extracted personal features, the platform provides an interactive design interface, on which users can adjust their hairstyle, skin color, makeup, etc., to create their own virtual image.AI-assisted design tools intelligently recommend matching solutions based on user preferences.

3. Dynamic expression and action fusion

Emotional Dynamic Adaptation Engine: Through advanced motion capture and synthesis technology, the platform enables the user’s virtual image to learn a variety of expressions and actions, such as smiling, blinking, etc., to ensure the natural performance in dynamic scenes and increase the realism of interaction.

4. Scene Interactive Experience

Story immersion platform: Users can choose different preset scenes or story templates, such as historical events, sci-fi future, fairy tale world, etc., and put their personalized images into them to experience the fun of role-playing, and the platform will adjust the storyline in real time according to the expressions and movements of the virtual images.
